Plateau , was born in Abadan ,Iran in 1950. A love for drums and saxophone first introduced Dariush to the world of music and this same passion won him gold and silver in drums and percussion at the Ramsar music Festival in 1967.
Dariush chose to make the classical Guitar his first priority and focused all his attention on this pursuit between 1967- 1968.
